Conference Time!
The Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist
Church in Texarkana, Texas will hold our Seventh Annual
Bible Conference of September 17 and 18, 2010. We would like
to invite all to attend.
Confirmed Speakers include:
Pastor Kelley Hinson from the
Landmark Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Ft. Worth, Texas
Pastor Harold McSwain from the
Naborton Baptist Church Mansfield, La.
Pastor David O'Neal from the Grace
Missionary Baptist Church Tulsa, Oklahoma
Pastor Larry Wilson from the
Northside Baptist Church Oakdale, La.
Pastor Jose Serrano from the
Sovereign Grace Baptist Church Silsbee, Texas.
Pastor Harace Hammond from the
Country Baptist Church Sulphur Springs, Texas
We have invited several other speakers
that have not yet confirmed, however they have until August
1, 2010 to confirm. We will list them as we receive notice.
Please check back often for updates. We hope to have 7 - 8

The
Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church is located at
1217 Dillon in Texarkana, Texas. Our Pastor is Brother
Randy Johnson. Brother Johnson has been our Pastor since
March 2004.
Pastor's of
the past include Brother Doyle Thomas, Brother Oscar
Mink, Brother Al Horn and others. This church was
established as a church on October 29th 1961 under the
name of Tabernacle Baptist church (which was later
changed to reflect our belief and stance in God's word).
We received our authority from the Tabernacle Baptist
church in Tulsa, Ok. The church then called Brother
Ronnie Forsythe as Pastor and he accepted that call to
be her first Pastor. The church observed the Lord's
Supper for the first time on the first Sunday in January
1962. Our church has one charter member still active
Sister Juanita Bookout.
The
Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church is a
Independent, Sovereign Grace, Landmark, Baptist Church.
Located in Texarkana, Texas. We pride ourselves in our
stance in God's Holy Script. We teach and study only
The King James Bible.

Satan's workshop!
"I don't want Satan
to outwit us. After all, we are not ignorant about Satan's
scheming." 2 Corinthians 2:11
The press has a great
power for evil. Infidel and immoral writers are pouring
forth a deluge of skepticism and vice, which are depositing
a pernicious and pestiferous slime over the minds of the
people.
Let it be imagined, if imagined it can be, what must be the
state of multitudes in this country, when millions of
pestiferous publications are annually going out among the
masses of our population. Let the minds of all Christian
people dwell upon . . .
the insult offered to God,
the ruin brought upon souls,
the injury done to morals, and
the mischief perpetrated in the nation, by such a state of
things!
These ungodly publications originate from Satan's workshop,
and reflect the scenes of that dreadful laboratory of mental
poison! These authors, printers, publishers, booksellers,
vendors, by myriads, are all busy and indefatigable--to do
what?
To destroy the Bible, to corrupt the mind, to pull down the
cross, to dethrone God, to subvert true religion, to turn
man into a speaking brute, to overturn all morality, to
poison the springs of domestic happiness, to dissolve the
ties of social order, to involve our country in ruin!
Satan, and all his emissaries upon earth, are in earnest in
ruining men's souls!
We have an evil to contend with--
so gigantic in its strength,
so diffused in its influence all around us,
so infectious and malignant in its effects!
The enemy is coming in like a flood! Infidelity and
immorality are invading us!
The alarm bell must
be rung!
